A Vegiful Day
I had planned to eat veggies only today but I couldnt bring myself to eat only veggies for breakfast :) so I ate fruit, and a yogurt. Not to bad in all. I can still eat only veggies the rest of the day and feel successful.
I also swam this morning for 20 minutes till the baby started crying and my husband got upset that HE had to wake up and take care of the baby because I was exercising. Oh well. So much for family support!
Yesterday I bought a bunch of fresh veggies in order to do a veggie only day today. Portabellas, squash, zuchini, cabbage, etc. YUM! I could be a vegateraian - I love veggies so much - I have in the past always felt “it is a pain to preare them fresh and buy them fresh every day”, but I am going to try to learn to enjoy that part of it, not just the eating part. I hate frozen veggies and canned veggies do not have the nuitrients nor the variety and flavor so fresh it will be….
Here’s to a vegiful day!

That’s a great start to a vegiful day! I don’t think I could handle just veggies in the morning either! And good for you on the swimming…That I one exercise I know I would do if I had access to a pool…Keep up the good work!!!
Punch that Hubby of yours in the ear! Sheesh! Good job on the eating. I don’t blame you on the veggies for breakfast thing though. The only time I have veggies for breakfast is in a veggie egg scramble (w/ egg whites). Yum! Keep up the good work and have a chat with your Hubby to let him know how important his support and contribution is to your success.
I admire your veggie day approach. I dont think I could be content with it, maybe if they were fixed up real nice. Enjoy them! And good luck with hubby’s support
Good luck with your veggies
I love veggies too, but I think my mom doesn’t like the buying then all the time and preparing them…but I’d love to eat more veggies each day!

I understand with the no veggies for breakfast…I don’t know of anything breakfasty that contains veggies unless you count potatoes…otherwise breakfast seems run by the meat lovers!
Have a super veggie day;)
